JEN WILES — NC HOUSE DISTRICT 75
Healthcare Worker , Mother , and Small Business Advocate
JEN WILES FIGHTS FOR:
Quality healthcare for everyone
🔗 Jen’s interview: 1756 candidate spotlight
Jen has worked in healthcare for more than 20 years, in emergency medicine, trauma, and surgery. She has seen patients put off care until it was too late because they couldn’t afford it. She supports expanded Medicaid coverage and stronger rural hospitals, because early care costs taxpayers less than emergencies.
Public school funding
🔗 Jen’s priorities: jenwilesnchouse.com
Jen’s plan would raise public school funding to $20,000 per student, so schools can support teachers and give students what they need. It would also offer pre-K to every 4-year-old. She would end private school vouchers and keep public money in public schools. Her campaign also held a back-to-school supply drive for local students.
Reducing taxes for working families
🔗 Jen’s plan: People-Powered Plan
Under Jen’s plan, the first $100,000 of income would not be taxed by the state, so most working families would pay no state income tax. Small businesses would pay no corporate tax on their first $500,000 in profit. The largest corporations and the wealthiest households would pay their fair share.
Meet Jen Wiles
Jen Wiles grew up just down the road from District 75, in northern Davidson County. She was raised by a single mom who worked long hours, and she watched her father, a Vietnam veteran, struggle after his service. Those years taught her what working families face.
Jen has worked in healthcare for more than 20 years, in emergency medicine, trauma, and acute surgical care. She started as an ER nurse and is now a family nurse practitioner. She works 12-hour shifts while raising two children and volunteering in their public schools. She is a first-time candidate, and she decided to run because the voices of everyday people in her district weren’t being heard in Raleigh.
💰 Follow the Money
Jen is running a grassroots campaign with hundreds of individual donors. As of June 30, 2026, she had raised about $25,500, and individual donors gave about 94% of it.
Jen does not accept money from corporate PACs.
Donny Lambeth gets almost all of his money from PACs, including medical, insurance, and drug industry groups.
